Veterinary Tutor / Lecturer are important members of today’s modern veterinary team. They work alongside veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses to share their professional knowledge with the team & public, ensuring that the work environment safety, strengthen veterinary knowledge, the well-being of small animal patients is paramount, and pet caring knowledge is shared with the pet owner or any potential candidates who are interested in our industry.
Main duties:
- Lead and manage effective teaching and learning within the classroom and clinic
- Develop and implement assessment processes and tools that meet industry skills standards
- Develop effective working relationships with students, client groups and staff by participating in team meetings, industry groups and student events
- Contribute to the development, implementation and review of educational programs
- General administration, including managing student attendance, progression and feedback
Requirements:
- Current industry skills and knowledge directly relevant to the training and assessments being provided
- AIRC Certificate IV would be preferred
- Possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with various stakeholders
- Be self-motivated and able to work under pressure
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent Communication & Presentable Skills
- Speak fluent Cantonese and English
- 5 years of veterinary nursing experience
